United Technologies Services Inc. (UTECH) has delivered network and low-voltage scope on numerous NYCHA PACT developments across Manhattan and the Bronx — building the cabling, risers and in-unit systems residents depend on, while working around the families who live there every day.
Every project below was a full MDU build-out: core scanning and drilling, pipe-box riser construction, cabling into every unit, CPE and access point installation, rooftop antenna work, and final turn-up and activation. All of it was done during active renovation, alongside some of the city's most active PACT development and construction teams.
A PACT gut rehab isn't a typical commercial job. The buildings are decades old, most units stay occupied, and compliance requirements reach well past the work itself. Here's what we plan for on every project.
Certified Payroll & Davis-Bacon Compliant, submitted by Elation Systems or DOL Form WH-347. Weekly certified payroll and Section 3 reporting are prepared in-house. The GC and PACT partner never have to chase us for documentation.
Field staff carry OSHA 30 and SST-10 credentials.
PACT partner, GC, property management, ISP network vendor and security integrator all touch the same risers and IDFs. We coordinate pathways, rack space and device counts so trades aren’t working against each other.
Cable cuts and vandalism happen in occupied buildings. We log every incident, repair it, and document it through change orders — then test, label and certify everything at closeout.
One crew, one contract, from the first core to a live connection in every apartment.
Bring UTECH in early. We'll walk the buildings, flag pathway and access issues before they hit your schedule, and price the low-voltage scope accurately.
